Computer Graphic – Summary Report

After facing a lot of constraints last week, the team managed to fix the errors and came up with solutions for the program. To adapt to the difficult situation mentioned on the post before, the team changed the program. Objects/models are imported to oimo.js physics to ease the burden of the team.

The final product is finished and it achieves the team’s goal. Successfully working features in this program are essential features such as:

Players have full control of the camera  to aim the direction of the ball

The goal post is imported using three.js and modeled using blender,

Ball is interactive and implement physics

The goalkeeper is moving in front of the goal post (using tween.js)

The environment of the game mimics a football environment (texture).

Despite the lack of features that was planned in earlier phase, the game is still playable and interactive for users. With the obstacle (keeper & goalpost) and the ball’s auto re-spawn feature, both makes a good game and an achievement for the team.

The team is very proud and happy that the product is finished, this project have taught the team a lot of things about webgl and design. Mr. Bagus & Deni (TA) have been a very good mentor in actualizing the project, the team personally thank Mr. Bagus & Deni for teaching the necessary knowledge in order to create this project.

Now this is the demo video of our project

Final Project – Computer Graphic – Progress

My team is still struggling with this project, but we managed to insert object from blender (.obj) to the webgl, here is a picture of it:

2016-05-28

The things we need to next:

a) Match the object with the material (.obj)

b) Shoot the ball

c) Insert the goalkeeper (and his function)

d) Coding for score

Hopefully we will finish this before the due date.

Final Project Proposal – Computer Graphic

FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL

Computer Graphic – L4AC

Caesar Prayogo Adyatma– 1801433491

Mochammad Farhan Ghiffary – 1801434733

Nadya Safira – 1801435572

Background

This project is made to fulfill the requirements of the Computer Graphic subject, in which a team of three, consist of Caesar Prayogo Adyatma, Nadya Safira and Mochammad Farhan Ghiffary, will create a 3D simulation of Penalty Kick using the knowledge learned throughout the class. By completing this final project, the team will have the skills in many aspects of Computer Graphics, produce the desired model for this project, and achieve an excellent score.

Project Description

The features are designed as simple and as straightforward as possible, so that they would be understandable for the user. These features consist of control bar, ball, dot target, goal, wind effect, pitch environment, and goal keeper. Control bar allows user to adjust the power for the penalty kick. Inside the control bar, there will be indicator colors such as red, green, and yellow. Each of those colors represents the accuracy of the kick. The ball is the main feature of this simulation. Dot target represents the direction of the ball. Goal is the place where ball should be in to get a score. Pitch environment offers a realistic feel of the surrounding to make it look better for user, e.g. green grass, weather, etc. Wind effect will give difficulty levels for user because it will affect the direction of the ball. Goal keeper will distract the user, as it is in front of the goal, hence the user has to create precise adjustment to get a score.

Project Scope

The goal of this project is to develop a simulation of footballers on experiencing penalty kick. User will gain a realistic experience as a footballer in the simulation. The simulation will give a friendly pitch environment and a goal as though the user will get to take score for the team. The group is demanded in collaborative working to collect some data to provide an attractive interface, in order for the user to not get overwhelmed on the features. Also to emphasizes on user’s experience to acquire the satisfaction on performing the simulation. Afterwards, the group should focus on the combination of features that are required to get a maximum result for user interface and user’s experience.

Environment

The software that will be used for this project are Blender and Webstorm. The language that will be used is JavaScript. Blender software will be used to design the surrounding elements, such as ball, player, goal, etc. Webstorm software is an intelligent IDE for front-end development and server-side JavaScript. Some of the source code that will be used (not more than 50%) might be obtained from Internet or other references.

Final Project Proposal

Final Project (Web) Proposal – Scripting Language

By Nadya Safira – 1801435572

1.1   Introduction

For Scripting Language final project, the students are required to make a website to sell product(s) which is based on the students’ preference. This project could be done individually or in group consisting of 2 members. The website’s coding language should be made out of a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. The website pages should consists of navigation bar, menu bar, help and login, registration form, administrator page, a shopping cart. The database should store the products available, products sold, customer’s information, the shopping cart information, transaction, etc.

1.2   The Website

The web name would be Case Addict, because this is the name of the store. This web will sell cases for Apple products such as iPhone, for Samsung phones, and other types of phones. This store would have various images or shapes of the case, but the customer could also request for their custom made image. This store ships worldwide.

On the website, the customers have to be a member of the website in order to purchase the cases. So, the customers will need to either sign up or sign in to the website. On the sign up page, the customers have to fill the form which consists of their details, such as Name, Address, Country, Phone Number, Email address, Username, Password, etc. On the sign in form, there will be Username and Password fields to fill. The customers can browse easily by selecting specific product in the category section, for example Apple Products: iPhone4, iPhone5/5s. They also could know more about the store by going through the navigation bar, which consists of Home page, About Us, Contact Us, etc. Below each product, there would be information about the details and the availability of the product. The product that they choose will be on the shopping cart. On the shopping cart page, there would be two options, either to cancel all selected items or to proceed with the payment. If the customers need any help, there would always be a link on each page to FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page. The detailed version of the website is on the Layout Design section below.
